Health and Healthcare in Europe: Between inequalities and new opportunities

Health and Healthcare in Europe: Between inequalities and new opportunities is planned for 17-19th February 2021. The conference is organized by Institute of Sociology and European Sociological Association Research Network 12 Sociology of Health and Illness .

Invited speakers: Zofia Słońska and Piet Bracke.

We plan 17 thematic sessions including session about pandemic. 

The communications space in which diverse actors of social life present the problems significant to them and put forward their positions, seeking to make themselves visible and attract the attention of a wider audience and competing for influence in defining meanings. Within the discourses operating here are mechanisms of inclusion and exclusion of actors and arguments. By recognising them we can improve transparent public communication, and as a result help to build civil society and civic participation.

ORGANISATIONS

Effective dialogue in organisations serves to optimise processes of management and development. It permits implementation of participatory methods of planning and risk monitoring as well as development of mechanisms of adaptation to changes.

It is applied in formation of development strategies and social responsibility programmes, and is a vital element of HR policies. Interinstitutional dialogue is a tool for building efficient partnership, activating stakeholder groups and reputation management.
